Idaho State Requirements
Idaho does not require pre-licensing education. However, residents must test for the line of authority they wish to have on their license. Major lines include Life, Disability/Health, Property, Casualty and Personal Lines.
Testing is done through PearsonVue. To schedule an exam, call 888-204-6218. Fingerprints must be scheduled at the same time. The fee for each exam is $60 and the fingerprint fee is $60. The fingerprint fee is forwarded to the FBI for processing of a background check. Exam scheduling may also be done on the Pearson Vue website.
